Fundraisers for Standing Rock in Los Angeles and Nevada City

At the front lines of the Dakota Access Pipeline conflict, people are converging from across the country to stand in solidarity with the protectors of water as conditions heat up on the ground.

For an update, here’s a recent report from Standing Rock by DemocracyNow’s Amy Goodman.

With your help, we were able to team up with our friends at Symbiosis Gathering to deliver a truckload of donations to the people at the frontlines. To help get the word out we also encouraged you to post, share and (if possible) to send in donations.

To further aid the water protectors who still are fighting the good fight for all of us, we’re stepping it up another notch too and asking the people of Los Angeles and Nevada City to participate in a fundraising celebration to honor the teams at Standing Rock. For those who (for now) can only be in North Dakota in spirit, this is a particularly fortuitous opportunity to channel some monetary energy into meaningful support, while having a little fun in the process.
