Meet Promotions Intern, Remy O'Donnell!

Name: Remy O’Donnell
Graduation Year: 2019
School: UCLA
Major: Dance & Sociology

Why did you want to intern at the Do LaB?
Do LaB gave me some of the best festival experiences of my life and it became my dream to be a part of the team that makes it all possible!

What are some things you have learned so far?
I have learned how many music events happen every week in Los Angeles (there’s about a million), I have learned some secret fun facts about Do LaB, and I have also learned how much people love to talk about their experiences at Lightning in a Bottle! When I am promoting, so many people share their LIB stories with me and it reminds me how awesome Do LaB is!

What are your career goals and how has Do LaB prepared you to achieve them?
I want to work in the music/festival industry so this internship is perfect! Everyone at Do LaB is showing us the ropes and giving us valuable hands on experience that we can take with us and apply to our future careers. This creative and personable company allows us to learn and actually contribute to the production of Lightning in A Bottle.

What is the best thing about interning at Do LaB?
The people are awesome, and we will get to celebrate and see all of our hard work pay off at LIB 2019!

What’s been your favorite college class?
My Sociology of Gender Class and my Advanced Modern Dance Class!

What is one thing you have learned from festivals?
A squad totem is necessary! They’re so much fun and they help you find all your buddies 🙂
