Why did you want to intern at the Do LaB?
I wanted to intern at Do LaB to learn directly from the leaders in the festival industry, and get a hands-on look into how the company functions to promote and produce massive cultural events.
What are some things you have learned so far?
I’ve learned how different teams collaborate to meet a unified goal, create innovative content, and strategize to effectively reach their audience.
What are your career goals and how has Do LaB prepared you to achieve them?
I’m interested in pursuing digital marketing for events and entertainment, so being able to create my own content for such a notable music festival is an amazing way to prepare for what my future career might entail.
What is the best thing about interning at Do LaB?
The beautiful office, friendly staff and interns, and the fact that everyone has great music taste.
What’s been your favorite college class?
I took a film class entirely on the horror genre during my sophomore year, and I loved being able to analyze and learn the social and cultural context behind some of my all-time favorite films.
What is one thing you have learned from festivals?
Some experiences only happen once, so make the most of it while you can!
