Why did you want to intern at the Do LaB?
The first time I attended Coachella Music & Arts Festival in 2013, my experience at the Do LaB was something that stuck with me forever. From the structure to its vibes, it was an experience that inspired me to become a part of this company one day. Do LaB is a leading company in the music industry that is changing the forefront of music festivals and I aspire to be a part of the new era of event experiences Do LaB is setting.
What are some things you have learned so far?
When running social platforms for music festivals, it is imperative to post content that creates a sense of FOMO to your target audience. I learned from analyzing statistics to creative brainstorming, so much goes into the development of content creation.
What are your career goals and how has Do LaB prepared you to achieve them?
After graduation, I desire to work on the business end of the Music Industry. Interning at the Do LaB is helping me take a big step towards my future career by providing the knowledge I need to understand the work behind music festivals and events as well as how to strategically market events with an innovative edge.
What is the best thing about interning at Do LaB?
The people 100%. It is an amazing feeling to be surrounded by likeminded people who share the same passion for music as I do. Also, I absolutely love the office’s aesthetic… it looks as if you transformed Coachella’s Do LaB stage into an office!

What is one thing you have learned from festivals?
Music festivals are a lot about the experience. Of course the artist’s performance is an important factor, but the main focus is the overall experience!
