At the end of September, we teamed up with our friends at Symbiosis Gathering to hold a supply drive before, and during the exodus of, the festival for the land and water protectors protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline. Through this action we raised over $2,000 and a U-Haul load of food and supplies that left Los Angeles yesterday, October 31st, to head to the frontline of protests in Fort Yates, ND.
While we did raise money and efforts for the Standing Rock Tribe and the onsite protectors, the fight is not over. We as a community need to stand together with those who are serving to protect our water, and who are ultimately fighting to protect future generations. So we at Do LaB ask you to take action! And don’t wait, the time is now.
